Chirag Padubidri

Mr. Chirag Padubidri is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at PERIOPSIS LTD. He received an MS degree in Embedded Systems with a focus on Deep Learning and Computer Vision from the University of Twente in the Netherlands in 2020. Chirag relocated to Cyprus in the same year to work as a research associate for the CYENS Center of Excellence. His research interests include embedded computing, aerial imagery, remote sensing, and deep learning, with extensive knowledge of GIS and satellite data analysis. 

Chirag co-founded PERIOPSIS along with Andreas Kamilaris and Savvas Karatsiolis in the summer of 2022, and has since served as the company’s COO. PERIOPSIS LTD is an innovative company providing satellite imagery and aerial photography-based analytic services employing state-of-art Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision techniques. Currently, in addition to his work at PERIOPSIS, Chirag is pursuing his PhD in collaboration with the CYENS Center of Excellence and the Cyprus University of Technology, with a focus on ‘Biodiversity Monitoring Using Emerging Technologies’.
