Biography

Maria Kamargianni is a Professor of Transport Systems Innovation and Sustainability and the Director of the MaaSLab at University College London (UCL). Her areas of research include travel behaviour, new mobility services design, and Sustainable Urban Mobility Planning (SUMP). Prof. Kamargianni has received several distinguished awards for her research and the methodologies she develops. She is the Project Coordinator or the Scientific and Technical Manager of numerous transport projects and handles a research portfolio of more than 20m Euros. She works closely with authorities and the industry to transfer her research outputs to the real world.
