Neofytos Ioannou

Neophytos Ioannou is an all-rounder and holds a degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. He is the Managing Director of nextbike Cyprus, the European leader of the micro-mobility industry.  nextbike by tier. Back in 2011 he went to Leipzig, armed with nothing but his vision for the bicycle and how to continually educate and serve the communities, to use the bicycle, for a greener, healthier, and more sustainable way of commuting.

His Goal – is to bring the brand to his home country as the first country operating outside of Germany. To achieve what reality is in so many European cities, using bicycles, e-bikes, and scooters for a greener way of transport. He says people that ride a bicycle are happier, knowing that it supports a healthy lifestyle as well.
10 years later, there are bicycles in Limassol, Nicosia, and Famagusta ( hotels) region, either on stations or free float at various central points of the city.
