Nicos Hadjinicolaou

Nicos Hadjinicolaou is the coordinator of the energy performance of buildings and energy efficiency of products unit at the Energy Service of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry. Among other things, the unit is tasked with implementing policies and measures that will increase the energy performance of the national building stock. He is the Cyprus national expert at the Energy Performance of Buildings Committee which is responsible to monitor the implementation of EPBD at Member States, and he is the chairman of the statutory national committee for implementing EPBD in Cyprus. Prior joining Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry he has worked in the building materials industry, and in building services. He holds an MSc and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s in Public Sector Management.
